Sustainable materials

Most of the ecological impact in fashion is created at the raw materials phase, much earlier than a garment is made. That’s why we spend months to source the best sustainable fibers with low water & energy usage, greenhouse gas emissions, non-toxic, biodegradable and strongly durable. 

Using Class A and B fibres and picking natural, renewable, recycled, biodegradable, low-impact textiles brings us closer to our mission.

Organic cotton

Our GOTS certified organic cotton consumes very little water compared to conventional cotton. As we don’t use harmful inorganic pesticides and fertilizers, there is little to no water pollution, so you conserve water every time you choose organic.

Organic Cotton is responsible for 46% less greenhouse gases than conventional cotton. This is due to organic cotton not using intensive farming practises or nitrous-oxide releasing fertilisers.

The GOTS standard also guarantees that the people that made this are paid living wages and treated like humans

TENCEL lyocell 

TENCEL™ Lyocell is one of the most sustainable fibers due to environmentally responsible closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibers with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%. 

Derived from nature, all standard TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fiber types have been certified by TÜV Austria Belgium NV as biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil and marine conditions 

TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fibers are produced from wood pulp from sustainably managed sources, a renewable resource. They have earned United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) BioPreferred® designation.

All ETHICALL trims, labels and threads are either recycled or responsibly sourced. Product packaging is reusable acting to preserve both your new garment and environment.
